Frequently asked questions

Does Richard offer consultancy for services other than in church i.e. in a Crematorium or licensed premises?
Yes. Richard will assist wherever your event is being held.
Is there a discount for the planning of mine and my spouses funerals?
There would be a saving in expenses, as long as the meetings were in the same place on the same or consecutive days, but not in the fee as each of you, to achieve your unique and personal event, would require your own research time.
Does Richard attend events that he has curated?
If requested, to oversee a service, Richard may attend but this would incur an extra fee plus expenses and would depend on availability, the location and travel time.
Are any payments refundable?
No. All payments are non refundable.
What happens if Richard ceases working or is deceased before my funeral, memorial service or wedding?
All Richard’s passwords for each client are lodged with two members of his family who would make all work completed available to every client.
Would Richard help me organise my parent’s funeral who has a dementia illness or other debilitating condition?
Yes. The process would be just the same but the client would be you rather than your parent.
Can Richard organise musicians for us?
Yes. Richard can organise musicians chosen by the client and charges a 15% handling fee.
Can Richard recommend musicians?
Yes. Richard can recommend, research and source musicians.

People say:
I have worked with Richard many times when I have provided music for special and poignant services. Richard’s organisation is second to none and he has a very approachable and friendly character. Richard is incredibly good with words - both when wanting to create a thoughtful moment and equally when a humorous touch is just the tonic.
